Hi! Thanks for stopping by.

Mimi in Antigua

Here's a little more about me. Perhaps we have something in common.

I am passionate about sharing Jesus and the spiritual resources we find in Him to go through life. Based on the Bible, through conferences, preaching, teaching, post, blogs, and my first book I encourage women to live a life that glorifies God, blesses other and satisfies their souls.

I grew up in a Christian family in Guatemala serving and doing good things for others, thinking that I was acting like a true Christian kept me away from knowing Jesus as my Lord. For many years I lived a mediocre life thinking that Christian life is about going to church, not harming others, and saying that I have faith. This "Christianized" lifestyle is, unfortunately, a truth that many women experience. Now desire is to help you break this mindset and be free to know Christ in a personal way.

I did graduate from Bible Seminar as a Theology Professor but I needed more than knowledge, I needed to know the Lord that I have heard about for four years. When I intentionally gave Jesus a priority in my every day, I found freedom and satisfaction I never experienced before.

The life God planned for us is actually a life of good works but nothing good comes unless we are in striving in obedience to Him (Ephesians 2:10). I found that submitting to God and His word is the best I can do and even when I'm not that good at it, there's always refuge in His grace for me and everyone.

The Christian life is a life of intentional self-denial and submission to the Word of God. To do this we need to know the God we are submitting to and once we realize His goodness there will no place we would rather be.

As a show of grace the Lord gave me Derek, a US Navy Veteran to enjoy life together and serve Him in places He takes to share His truth. Between Guatemala and United States, I experienced the joy of God in the god day and His strength in the hard ones, and I know I'm never alone.

Let me be clear with this: I don't have a perfect life or even a resemblance of it, but as I struggle with obedience, I found His grace every step of the way. Trust me, sister, the struggle is real but so is His grace.

So let's run together to the presence of the Lord and use the spiritual recourses in Jesus to live a joyful Christian life.
